Aspara Aromatics brings the restorative spirit of tropical Asian spa philosophy to the home bathing environment. This luxurious, back-to-basics body care collection is inspired by the lush landscapes, pungent aromas and centuries-old health and beauty rituals that characterize this spiritually awakened region of the world.

In Asia, the desire to be beautiful is intrinsic to the culture; it is not perceived as vanity. As such, spa practices focus on the inter-connectedness between mind and body, and achieving emotional and spiritual harmony as a means towards realizing external beauty. Botanical ingredients, a soothing environment and the mystical power of massage all play a role in helping people get back in touch with their bodies, uplift their spirits and in doing so, look and feel truly beautiful.

Product Inspiration

Throughout Asia, the tropical spa centers around home-spun remedies derived from natural sources: plants, flowers, nuts, seeds, tea, milk, yogurt, even coffee, are used to polish and moisturize skin, draw out impurities or simply, revive and soothe the senses.

Inspired by these traditional recipes - and fueled by a sensitive skin condition - Aspara Aromatics founder Daisy Tang began experimenting with skincare formulations in 2000. What began with a compelling assortment of handcrafted soaps brimming with traditionally Asian ingredients and aromas has since evolved into a pampering range of body lotions, scrubs and bath soaks designed to elevate the ritual of bathing to a soothing, sensory experience. Her vision: to bring a little bit of tropical Asian Zen to the Western bath, and in doing so, nourish the skin as well as the soul.

Handpicked Ingredients

Aspara Aromatics products are formulated with many of the same luscious ingredients characteristic of tropical Asian spas: skin-loving oils and butters used for centuries by Asian women to moisturize and smooth their skin; protein-rich milks for their softening properties; silk to exfoliate and restore skin's natural luster; flowers, which in Asia, represent a purging of bad luck; and transporting essential oils to calm and soothe the spirit.
